From the ui.labor.state.mo.gov page you will be able to file an unemployment insurance claim online. You can also access information about claim centers, what happens after you file a claim, direct deposit forms, 1099 request forms, and you will be able to view your claim from the same page. You can also use the site to view your access card balance of your existing claim, to change your payment method if you desire to do so, to access information for injured workers, access information for unemployed workers, and to find out more about public bodies, publications, forms, and news and notices.
The ui.labor.state.mo.gov page allows you to file a claim online, but you will have to be willing to provide certain information in order to do so. You will need to supply your social security number, your personal identification number, your mailing address, your telephone number, the name of the county that you reside in, and all the contact information for your previous employer. After you submit a Missouri unemployment application, it will be determined if you’re eligible. If everything shows you’re eligible, then you should receive your first payment in about 18 to 20 days. If there is a reason why you can’t receive benefits or any issues that need to be resolved, a questionnaire to fill out or a notice for a telephone interview will be sent to you.
